Each year GenerationOn picks a group of 14 children to receive Community Action Hero Awards. This year founder of Ears for Years, Grace O'Brien was chosen as a semifinalist! GenerationOn inspires kids to make their mark on the world through service projects. Congratulations to SolarEar, who was just named one of the winners of Verizon Wireless's "Powerful Answers Award". SolarEar is a healthcare winner, and has been given $500,000 to expand facilities, testing, and access to hearing aids for the hearing impaired in developing countries.
